Thank you for your interest in New Life Homes self help homeownership program.

Catholic Charities Housing Services (CCHS) New Life Homes self-help homeownership program uses a first come, first served method to match qualified applicants to the homes available. Each application will be assigned a completion date when all required information is turned into our office. The required information is listed on the Application Checklist.

After we receive a completed application, it will be reviewed to determine if the applicant meets the program requirements. Once eligibility has been determined, the applicant will be assigned a lot number according to the completion date on the application and the anticipated closing date for the purchase of the home.

CCHS New Life Homes uses a mixture of supplemental monies from federal, state and private sources to assure that our program participants will have affordable house payments. Supplemental monies are in the form of grants or deferred second and third mortgages. These supplemental monies are used to finance the gap between the sales price of the home and the amount of mortgage a participant can qualify for at a participating bank.
