Housing Counseling

Catholic Charities Housing Services is a newly HUD approved housing counseling agency. CCHS offers a variety of services to ensure that the people we serve is aware that financial education nourishes financial stability for individuals and for entire communities. The more people know about credit and banking services, the more likely they are to increase their savings, buy homes and improve their financial health and well being.

Homebuyer training and financial literacy is being provided during week and weekend sessions seminars at no cost to the public and future homeowners (including materials and textbooks). We have been successfully coordinating the provision of these services by partnering with other local non-profit organizations, lenders, real estate agents, title companies, financial institutions, and insurance agents for more than four years.

CCHS's service area encompasses a wide geographical area in Central Washington. The additional funding to expand the breadth and depth of our housing counseling program will increase individuals and families access to these programs by providing these services in their local communities. Our program is designed to offer convenient class schedules which include weekend seminars, evening classes, and/or one on one counseling sessions and home visits.
